Next is a study in 2017 published in the National Library of Medicine conducted specifically to find out the effectiveness of tea tree oil to mild to moderate acne. The researchers shared results on how the application of the essential oil significantly improved said types of acne.

Finally, there’s also the 2018 study published in Clinical Pharmacology: Advances and Applications Journal conducted to find out the effectiveness of a combination of ingredients including tea tree oil in the treatment of acne. Their formulation led to a positive result in terms of the improvement of acne.
